Three Reasons to Get a Nose Job Today

By |July 4th, 2016|

Do you ever feel like you have a beak on your face where your nose should be? Have you ever had a hard time drinking a beer because your nose gets jammed on the rim of the glass? Do you feel like you’re putting together a jigsaw puzzle when you kiss someone, trying to find a way to get close enough to their face with your long nose in the way? If so, you probably have firsthand experience with the weird problems that come with having a mountain jutting out of your face, throwing off your balance. But, the fact that you’ve had to deal with these problems your whole life so far doesn’t mean you’ll have to deal with them for the rest of it. Here are a few good reasons you should get a nose job.
A Nose Job Will Make You Look Better
A nose job gives you a rare chance to sculpt your face to look exactly how you want it to. And, sculpting a new nose is a really popular and efficient way to change your whole look for a low cost, since the nose is one of the first things people look at.

A nose job is also considered to be a status symbol in many parts of the world, signifying that you care about your looks and have the money to do something about it. In Iran, for example, the nose job capital of the world, there have been over 200,000 nose jobs out of a population of 77 million people, a rate four times higher than the United States. Many upper-class Iranian women will proudly strut down the streets of downtown Tehran with a bandage still on their nose, [...]

CoolSculpting for Weight Loss: What You Need to Know

By |April 22nd, 2016|

Temperatures are on the rise; those sunny days sitting on city patios and lazing about on beaches are not far off. For some, this means showing off those great bodies we’ve spent developing over our winter hibernation. Unfortunately, not all of us are blessed with the time or genetics to achieve that perfect physique. Even now, maybe you’re spending extra time at the gym, eating healthy and sleeping well. Perfect plans rarely stay perfect, and even the strictest programs can fail to produce the results we want. Sometimes we need extra help for those final miles – a trainer, supplements or a treatment you haven’t heard of, like CoolSculpting.

What is CoolSculpting?

Stubborn fat is just that – stubborn. It can be hard to lose fat because our bodies naturally want to maintain the amounts we have in case of a famine. If you’ve been exercising, and dieting consistently, our bodies make it harder to lose the last few pounds than the first ones that seemed to just melt off. Darn that process of evolution! Fortunately, scientists discovered that cold temperatures can trigger the body to get rid of fat cells for energy. This understanding has led to the developed of CoolSculpting.

Approved by the FDA, CoolSculpting is a non-invasive tailored procedure that works by using controlled cooling to kill fat cells without damage to the surrounding tissue. The procedure is simple too (at least for you!). All you have to do is lie down while a technician applies the cooling device to that area of stubborn fat and relax for an hour. You can even nap during the process! After the procedure there’s no need for downtime, either. In the weeks that follow your procedure [...]

5 Celebrities Who Defy The Laws of Ageing

By |April 6th, 2016|

#5- Naomi Campbell

This notoriously sassy supermodel still looks as glowing and fierce at 45 as she did 20+ years ago. Despite denials that she has ever gone under the knife, it is clear that she has had some cosmetic surgery – most noticeably in her nose, skin and cheeks. Recently, fashion house Balmain hired Campbell, along with two of her 90s supermodel counterparts – Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford – to pose for their recent Spring/Summer 2016 campaign, demonstrating that age truly is just a number.

#4- Raquel Welsh

This screen siren, made famous by her iconic appearance in the 1966 film One Million Years B.C., looks anything but prehistoric.  At 73 years of age, time has not appeared to have altered her uniquely stunning looks. However, a healthy lifestyle alone cannot be attributed to her agelessness. Welch has clearly received several cosmetic enhancements, including a facelift, along with fillers, Botox and skin-tightening and fractional treatments to counteract signs of ageing.

#3- Brad Pitt

His iconic all-American good looks certainly have not faded from Brad Pitt’s features, and recent photos of him looking younger than ever have some of us wondering if the star has become a real-life Benjamin Button.  Judging by the smoothness of his facial skin around his eyes and brow area, the 52-year-old actor has likely received several non-surgical anti-aging treatments, including laser skin rejuvenation and carboxy therapy, while still remaining natural-looking (and ruggedly handsome).

#2- Gwen Stefani

Even after all these years, this blonde bombshell is still Just a Girl – at least in looks.  Three children and a recent public divorce have somehow only made Gwen, 46, even more stunning. Her rigorous exercise regime aside, Gwen has had some outside help in maintaining her youthful [...]

3 Solutions that Could Solve Trump’s Hair Situation

By |March 24th, 2016|

Hair loss is a fact of life for many – even Trump. It can happen for many reasons but whether you’re experiencing pre-mature hair loss due to genetics or simply because of ageing, there is a hair restoration solution that will work for you. A hair loss treatment is one sure way to look younger and will definitely give you a boost of confidence. If you have a Trump hair situation going on, here are some solutions for you:

A hairpiece that doesn’t look like one

Forget about all the movies you saw with a guy holding on to his hairpiece during a windy scene. Due to advancement in science and medicine, the old school hairpieces are a thing of the past. The hairpieces at Hairfree Clinics not only provide you with a hair loss solution, but you also have the assurance that they are nearly impossible to detect on one’s head. They are custom fitted to the contours of your head and designed to stay put, once in place! It’s a quick, painless and affordable solution to your problem.

Therapy anyone?

Laser therapy is used in the same way that it’s used to stop hair growth with one difference being the laser’s intensity. Laser hair restoration therapy uses laser at a much lower power and actually stimulates the natural process of hair growth. You can start looking in the mirror now and imagining yourself with a thick, full head of hair because that’s what this therapy will do for you. It’s a safe and non-invasive procedure that will have you saying ‘long hair don’t care’ in no time.

It’s a (hair)evolution!!

Our revolutionary hair transplanting system involves a procedure that involves extracting individual hair follicular units from the scalp [...]

Mole Removal at Hairfree Clinics

By |March 4th, 2016|

Each of us gets our pigmentation from skin cells in our bodies. They are supposed to be distributed evenly across the skin to make a smooth outer layer. When they grow together in clusters, they form a discolored mass that we call a mole. You can get them from hormones, pregnancy, or sunlight. If you have moles on your face or body that are very large, then it can take away from your confidence and even be a danger to your health. The vast majority of moles that we remove are benign (harmless), but they sometimes can be a sign of skin conditions.

Where do you remove moles

Most of our clients come to us to get moles on their faces removed since these are the most visible, but we also treat the body as well. It could be on the neck, back, legs, or anywhere else you have lesions that you think are unattractive. Most moles are dermal in nature, meaning that they protrude from skin, are pale, and even have hair growing inside, so we understand why our clients want to get rid of them.

What is the procedure like?

The procedure begins with a consultations where our professionals examine your skin to come up with the best procedure moving forward. What often happens is that we cauterize the moles, meaning that we use a special instrument to burn it off. The mole can also be dug out of your skin if it is determined to be deep into the skin rather than on top of it. In either case, all necessary precautions are taken and you feel next to no pain.

If you have moles protruding from your skin, or have other lesions that you think [...]

The Benefits of Hair Transplants

By |March 4th, 2016|

If you are going bald, then chances are you’re looking for a way to reverse the trend. While many men look better without hair, still many more wish they had that full head of hair back that they used to have when they were young. It’s not your fault. Hair loss is genetic. But there is something you can do about it. These are the benefits of hair transplants with Hairfree Clinics.

It’s all natural

Unlike other procedures where fake hair is made, a hair transplant is all natural. It uses only your own hair follicles, meaning that you use your own natural abilities to regrow your hair. A donor area where there is permanent hair is carefully selected, and then these follicles are transplanted to the recipient area where there is hair loss. Eventually, these transplanted follicles regrow a full, thick head of hair that’s all your own.

Our ARTAS system is state-of-the-art

The ARTAS hair transplant system is state-of-the-art in the medical world. This 21st century innovation allows physicians to examine everything within the procedure more deeply. From the angle of the hairs to methods of extraction, everything is done with a highly-trained professional and a precise robotic arm. Our system is image-guided and highly sophisticated. You won’t find anything better anywhere in the world.

It is minimally invasive

As a rule of thumb, invasive procedures are more effective than non-invasive ones. In this case, however, this minimally-invasive procedure is highly effective. There are only a few small punctures in the skin to extract follicles, and there is little to no scarring. It is complete in about half the time of less-advanced methods, and requires no significant downtime at all.

Getting your hair back to the way it was [...]

What is a Fat Transfer and is it Right for You?

By |March 4th, 2016|

We offer many surgical procedures at our clinic in Toronto to help our clients achieve the look that they’ve always wanted but have never been able to achieve. One of the most popular is a fat transfer. Although procedures like liposuction and Botox are more popular and have more recognizable names, this surgical procedure is still very effective for many of our patients. Let’s cover what a fat transfer is and see if it is right for you.

The basics

When certain nutrients are absorbed by the body but not used, they are stored for later use as fat. This is a survival mechanism built into our bodies. Men and women naturally store fat in different areas and also naturally have areas lacking in fat. This could make for flatter features that take away from our appearance. A fat transfer is simply a surgical procedure that takes excess fat from one area and transplants it to another to fill out the feature to our clients liking.

Which areas do you treat?

Although this procedure can be utilized for many different areas, the two main areas of the body that we treat are the face and the buttocks. Many women want either a fuller face to accentuate the beauty in their eyes, cheeks, and lips or they want fuller buttocks. The problem is that if you don’t have them naturally, there is no way to get them. With a fat transfer, those areas can be filled out and made to look beautiful and sexy.

What is the procedure like?

Despite the process being surgical in nature, you are in no danger. The surgeon will perform liposuction on the area with excess fat, drain the fat of fluids, and inject it into [...]

3 Steps to a Sexy Beach Body

By |March 4th, 2016|

With summer right around the corner, many of our clients in Toronto want to know how they can get a great body to show off to everyone. Everyone wants to have a great midsection, smooth legs, and curves that get people staring, but sometimes it isn’t always possible with just normal diet and exercise. There is a lot of misleading information out there, so Hairfree Clinics wants you to know that there are 3 steps to a sexy beach body. Whether you are a man or woman, these three things can help get you ready to show off to the world no matter what your age is.

Eliminate high-carb foods

Carbs are vital to your body, but too many of them will quickly get you looking flabby. Men often carry this extra weight on their stomachs, which is where we get the stereotypical beer belly. Women often carry it on their hips and thighs.  If you want to get a sexy beach body, then step one should be to eliminate or heavily cut down on high-carb foods like bread, junk food, pasta, rice, and to a lesser extent legumes like beans or lentils. Beer, a drink high in carbs and low in everything else, should also be cut out completely.

Do high-intensity cardio

When most people begin working out, whether in the gym or alone at home, they often don’t know what their goals are. This means they just pick up a dumbbell or hit the road running without knowing what they are doing. If you want to burn fat and get that rock hard look, then you need to up the intensity. If you want to run, then mix in sprinting with jogging. Run as fast [...]

What Causes Hair Loss and How Our Clinic Helps?

By |December 9th, 2015|

Although hair loss is a common reason for men to come to our clinic, it is also a concern for women and children. Recent strides in medical science have given us a deeper understanding as to the causes and remedies for it, and our clinic offers several different treatments to help restore your natural look. Whether the reason for your thinning or baldness is genetic or because of sickness, we can help you get a fuller head of hair. Let’s see what causes hair loss Toronto and how our clinic helps.

What causes hair loss?

Even though it is very common among men and occurs in women as well, hair loss isn’t completely understood. We do know that the vast majority of causes are genetic, such as with male pattern baldness. The vast majority of baldness in men (95%) is caused by MPB. This is the quintessential receding hairline seen when we start to age, and is caused by genetic background. Although it varies among populations, statistics show that nearly 2/3rds of men have noticeable hair loss by age 60. The studies also show women suffering from genetic hair loss, albeit at smaller rate.

There is a hormone in the body associated with the X chromosome, dihydrotestosterone, which prompts body and facial hair growth. In both men and women who are genetically prone to hair loss, DHT causes our hair follicles to become thinner. This means that the hair-growth phase is shortened and young hair cannot become deeply rooted in the scalp. Over time, hair becomes thinner and thinner until the follicle becomes dormant and stops producing altogether.

How can our clinic help?

We offer several different hair treatments to help you achieve a fuller look. They are among [...]

Is Liposuction Right For Me?

By |December 9th, 2015|

We offer many helpful procedures for people who are looking to keep their natural look but improve on some areas that they just can’t do themselves. One of these is liposuction for weight loss. We all want to shed a few pounds here and there, but sometimes diet and exercise just aren’t enough. It can be because of genetic reasons or maybe even because losing weight left you with excess skin that won’t go away. If you are wondering if liposuction is right for you, here are a few things you should know.

What is liposuction?

Liposuction is simply the removal of excess fat deposits that won’t go away. These extra-stubborn areas of fat are often around the midsection and hips, and they can be unsightly at times. This procedure will help accentuate your curves and give you that figure that you’ve always dreamed of. It is by far one of the most popular procedures on the planet and is enjoyed safely by thousands of people across Canada.

Is it good for weight loss?

It is important to know that liposuction is NOT a substitute for diet and exercise. Although it can certainly remove excess weight, it is only meant to remove small amounts. This is not for the person that needs to lose a lot of weight, it is for the person that has some weight that they want to lose in areas that they can’t seem to lose it in. The best way to think about it is that liposuction is meant to reduce inches not pounds.

Do I need to be healthy?

Yes, an ideal candidate will not be obese, be healthy enough for the procedure and have good skin elasticity. If you are obese, liposuction could [...]
